Have you not been able to find the right piece of artwork? Why not consider commissioning a painting directly from Philip.
Commissioning a work of art can be highly rewarding.
The work would be personal and unique, it will be specifically produced for you and your requirements.
For the private commission, Philip works individually with the clients, customising the paintings size, colour scheme and subject matter
to transform an interior space.
"While decorating our new beach side unit, we found it difficult to purchase
just the "right" painting to enhance our feature wall in the entry. We required
a painting of large proportions, minimalist content and with a marine theme.
Our problems were solved when we commissioned Philip to do our work of art.
By consulting together he achieved what we had envisaged with colours
complimenting our decor. We were impressed by his attention to detail and the
resulting painting captures the immediate attention of all who enter the unit.

For the corporate commission, it may be a case of capturing the company's essence, it's culture or history, or reinforcing the company's
marketing message in a unique and powerful way. Perhaps it could be the ultimate high end gift for a retiring executive.
Philip will assist the client through the process of developing their brief. The brief being - a collection of thoughts and ideas on paper
which is an important part of the commission process as it establishes exactly what is to be achieved and sets out guidelines such as:
Who or what is the work for? Is it for your home, the business reception, or the boardroom? Is it a gift?
Are there special requirements? Consider the dimensions of the painting, the space in which the work will go, the purpose of the work.
In most cases it will be a Philip Farley style that is required, but if there is to be an influence from other observed artworks,
have samples of these to be referred to.
Prices would be determined by size, medium, subject matter and the level of detail used. These could range from $1,000 to $20,000.
Please do not leave the commission of a corporate or private artwork to the last minute if the work has a required deadline ,
or is intended for a gift.

"In 2008 Philip came into school to talk with the Prep children about art. Whilst at the College, he was offered a
challenging commission to commemorate the College's 20th anniversary under the leadership of Allan Todd (Headmaster).
He left with ideas of what to avoid and possibilities to include, and armed with photographs, college magazines and a 3D model of the school!
Philip consulted frequently to ensure he was capturing the essence of what was envisioned.
Philip's painting not only summarises all the ideas discussed with him, but also encapsulates the Headmaster's personality and vision,
which is Redlands College.
